The Walt Disney Originals Collection pays tribute to Walt Disney's pioneering achievements in great family entertainment. A new Limited Edition pin will be released each month throughout 2006.
This Limited Edition pin celebrates the first Disney Theme Park - Disneyland ® which opened in Anaheim, California July 17, 1955. Walt Disney wanted to create a place where parents and kids could go together and all have fun.
Pin features patriotic banners on each side of a picture of Walt Disney, "Disneyland" entrance sign beneath it is a pin on pin written in black letters on a white background. Under the entrance sign is the words "The Happiest Place on Earth Grand Opening July 17th 1955 Drop in and see all the fun!" written in silver letters on a black background with a bronze "Walt 001" nametag dangle on the right hand side.
