Front Description
This black Monorail pin is part of the Hidden Mickey Collection. This is the 3rd version of this pin that has been issued. The first had no Hidden Mickey and the second added the Hidden Mickey to the lower right corner. This third version is just like the second on the front. The back has the 2006 Official Pin Trading logo and is marked Hidden Mickey Pin-2 of 8. Original Pins are #33179 & 35816.
[2008 comment: Greetings! I've been working on a definitive list of all the cast lanyard monorail pins and I can assure you that there IS a 2006 Black Monorail numbered "6 of 8". Unfortunately, not all of the information I have is based on "fact" -- some is theory until I find actual examples of the pins which "theoretically" should exist. I have discovered two errors in my last post which I will now correct: In 2006 TWO different pins were issued as "2 of 8" (black and yellow), TWO different pins were issued as "5 of 8" (yellow and blue), TWO different pins were issued as "6 of 8" (silver and black), and TWO different shades of orange were issued as "8 of 8". There are probably other similar variations, but they have not been identified yet. I appreciate corrections or challenges to my information. I have examples to back up all of this current information except for the 2006 Yellow 2 of 8 which should exist, in theory . . . but I have yet to see the actual pin.]
