Front Description
Commemorating the 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea attraction at the Magic Kingdom Park, this pin is part of the "White Glove - Remember When" collection. This attraction opened October 14, 1971 and closed September 5, 1994.
The pin shows the Nautilus submarine pointing to the right with the title "20,000 Leagues under the Sea" on the side. Below on a dangle is a porthole window looking out on a giant squid in the water. At the bottom of the porthole, there is the "Remember When" catchphrase and a white glove. The frame of the porthole is a pin on pin above the squid.
The blue of the sub and the porthole is a translucent color with the gold of the pin providing a metallic glow.
The back of the pin is stamped with the 2006 Pin Trading Logo and the opening date of the attraction "October 14, 1971".
On the racks, there were a lot of imperfections in the clear window part of the porthole.
