This Pin is similar to Pin # 27095. However, I traded for this pin and it shows the year of 1979 (unlike Pin #27095, which shows 1989). According to Dave Smith A-Z The Official Encyclopedia, Big Thunder opened September 2, 1979 at Disneyland. So we believe this to be the pin that is in the framed set. If anyone has any additional information on this pin, please post it here.
This pin was released in 1995 as part of a 3 pin Walt Disney Travel Company Set and also as a 6 Pin Framed Cast Member Individually Numbered Set (#27779).
It is similar to (#1449), Disneyland 35th Anniversary Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. These newer (1995) release pins are cloisonne as opposed to enamel.
