PP52436    HKDL - Chinese New Year 2007- Pooh & Piglet

Front Description

This pin celebrates the 2007 Chinese New Year. This colorful pin has Winnie the Pooh and Piglet dancing on it. There are four different Chinese characters on the pin along with the words Hong Kong Disneyland. The four characters combined are a common chinese new year lucky greeting phrase meaning "having leftovers every year" (which is a good thing as compared to being in want). The last character, meaning "leftover/remains" sounds identical to the character "fish", thus the background of the pin is in a fish shape (it's very common to associate with the character "fish" for this phrase)

This pin is part of a series of 12 pins celebrating the 2007 Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year 2007 pin series include: 52377, 52378, 52379, 52432, 52433, 52434, 52437, 52438, 52439, 52440, 52735
