Front Description
Released in 1995, this is one of six LION KING pins made available, through a Pillsbury promotion, to commemorate the "home video" release of Disney's animated THE LION KING. A different pin was available each week, for six weeks, with the purchase of Pillsbury products at participating stores. Each pin came on its own card. The blue card (with an orange border) reads: A Walt Disney Masterpiece with the movie logo is above the pins. Below the pins, it reads: NOW ON HOME VIDEO. Contains functional sharp point. ©THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY. Made in Taiwan. At the end of the six weeks, once you had gotten all six pins, you could return to the store for a special display card which had the VHS cover printed in the center.
This pin features TIMON, facing forward but tilted to the left with his tail out to the right and standing on his two rear legs.
