PP53593    Cast Member - Project Tomorrowland ''Wave 5''

From what I was able to glean from the Wall Street Journal On-line without paying the fee, I got this, "Disney recently rolled out an internal system for handling payroll, accounting and other tasks, It was named "Project Tomorrowland". The article was dated 2/13/04 which jives with the date I was told this pin was given to Cast members. Apparently from what I gather it was a pin issued at the corporate level to the inner accounting bureaucracy who participated in this project. There is at least one other version of this pin, where this pin states "Wave 5", the other, identical pin, has one difference, it states "Global Template". Pin measures 1.25" wide by 1" tall. Reverse reads Copyright "Disney".

Project Tomorrowland consisted of 5 waves. Upon the conclusion of each wave the participant was given a pin (wave 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) at the end of the project those who participated in all waves were given a frame to put the pins in. There also is a 3 pin limited framed set (template, waves 1 and 2).
