Front Description
This gold-finished pin shows two train railroad parlor cars (yellow on the left, red on the right) and in the middle is a white roundel with "DISNEYLAND RAILROAD" written in it. Across the white circle is a red bar with the "Lilly Belle" logo, and "1976" above it and "2006" below. Below the yellow coach is "Rededication", and below the red coach is "February 15, 2006". The lettering on the pin is in gold, and the background is dark red maroon.
From Ape Pen Publishings web site...."The Disneyland Railroad observation car #106 started service in 1955 as the Grand Canyon; part of the Retlaw 1 consist. In 1976, the car was transformed into the Lilly Belle; an elegant private railcar for distinguished guests. Presented in conjunction with the Carolwood Historical Society, this set commemorates the history and rededication of the Lilly Belle.
Commissioned by the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society, this is the same pin as found in the 'Waiting for Walt' Art and Pin set."
