Front Description
This cloisonné pin is for a little known Disney acquisition known as Prospect Studios. Prospect Studios, which specializes sound and other production facilities, can trace its history back to 1915. The Jazz Singer was shot at this studios, with it acting as the sound synchronization facility for the film. In 1948 the studios was bought by ABC. In 1996, it was acquired by Disney.
The pin shape as a square with an arch at the top. The base is 1 1/8 inches wide; it is approximate 1 ¼ inches tall from the top the arch to the base.
The front of the pin shows Prospect Studios’ logo. It has a white background. The top arch has the word PROSPECT in white inside a blue field. Below this is a stylized P. Below this is the Studio’s gate in black and green. Below the gate is the word (in black): STUDIOS.
