Front Description
Jessica adds style to the Cayman Islands Police force on this arresting gold-finished character pin, one in a series of law enforcement heroes. Pin 2'' H.
Jessica Rabbit blows a whistle as she holds a STOP sign. She wears a pointed white helmet with a white jacket, red belt and slacks with red, white and blue stripes. From "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
1. The back of the real one is gold dimples: lots of teeny tiny little round indentations. The back of the scrapper is a grid: lots of teeny tiny little squares.
2. The back of the real one is very shiny. The back of the scrapper is duller.
3. The backstamp of the real one is small. The backstamp of the scrapper is larger. To give context to the comparison of smaller/larger, look at the right edge of the ODPT box and examine how far it is from the edge of the pin. The real one has space between the right edge of the ODPT box and the edge of the pin: 2-3 dimples fit in the empty space. The scrapper has barely any room at all between the right edge of the ODPT box and the edge of the pin: only .5-1.5 little squares fit in the empty space, and the right corners of the ODPT box actually *touch* the edge of the pin.
4. The backstamp of the real one has crisp letters. It's tiny, but it very clearly states the ODPT 2007, Limited Edition 250, (c) Disney/Amblin, China. The backstamp of the scrapper has a blurred, completely illegible ODPT stamp, though it *is* possible to read the 2007 and other text.
5. On the real one, the STOP sign in front looks exactly like the picture: very clear and crisp and even. The "O" is especially evenly white and symmetrical. On the scrapper, the STOP sign is blurred and dirty, and the "O" is too thin on the right side -- it's not symmetrical. The "P" is too slim and the lower portion of the "T" is not symmetrical.
6. On the real one, there's space between Jessica's lips and the whistle. You can clearly see the space. On the scrapper, the whistle is jammed into poor Jessica's mouth, which looks uncomfortable!
7. Jessica's hair is orange -- just like the picture -- in the real pin. It's a darker red on the scrapper.
