PP54405    WDW - Chef Mickey's Village Restaurant

Front Description

This red, black and white oval pin is made of white molded plastic and has a straight pin clasp. The center of the pin features a black and white Mickey Mouse. Mickey is wearing a chef hat. He is holding a mixing bowl with his right hand and stirring the food in the bowl with a spoon in his left hand. Above Mickey are the words ‘Chef Mickey’s’, written in red lettering with black outlining. At the bottom of the pin it reads ‘Village Restaurant’, with the words village and restaurant (both in red lettering). These words are separated by the bowl that Mickey is holding.

The Village Restaurant was located on the shores of Buena Vista Lagoon. It was operating during the 1980’s and during some time it was renamed Chef Mickey's Village Restaurant. Chef Mickey’s Village Restaurant closed in July 1990 and was reopened under the new name Chef Mickey’s. In 1995, Chef Mickey's was replaced by the current Rainforest Cafe. The only way to get one of these pins was to work at Chef Mickey’s Village Restaurant; these were never available to the public.

Size: 2 ¼ inches (w) x 1 ¾ inches (h)
