The five STAR WARS WEEKENDS events for 2004 took place at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW, running May 14-June 13. Each long weekend (Friday-Sunday) featured celebrity guests and lots of merchandise exclusive to the events. Artist Randy Noble was signing at three of the events, and art was used to represent scenes from both the prequels and the original Trilogy. Over the course of the five weekends, eleven individual pins and a Droid Boxed Set were released. There was also an LE100 Framed Set featuring 10 of the single pins (excluding the Droid boxed set and the jumbo Jedi Mickey pin).
This pin features a C-3PO, the golden protocol droid from the Star Wars movies and the Star Tours attraction. He is facing forward with his right hand up. Done in a gold finish with black lines and shadows silkscreened on.
