This is the logo pin for the VIP boxed set (#45850) released for the Grand Opening of Hong Kong Disneyland on September 12, 2005.
Guests were given a box along with this logo pin, and then picked up other pins throughout the park and hotels.
The white irregularly-shaped pin has the word "Disneyland" in red, with "HONG KONG" in gold-bordered purple above it at right. Also above it is the castle - in purple - with a shooting star or Tinker Bell arching across the sky from left to right. At the bottom, in purple, is "GRAND OPENING SEPTEMBER 12, 2005."
The pin has a double post on the back. Along with the official 2005 pin trading logo and the Hong Kong Disneyland logo, the backstamp is, "© Disney, Grand Opening Edition 3000."
