The differences on the front (dull finish on portion of apron below the waist, less detail in Jessica's right hand, her left shoe, and top left on her hair ribbon) could have just been mistaken for unfortunate random manufacturing defects if it were not for the fact of the differences in the copyright information on the back of the pin. These differences are what clearly identify these pins as counterfeits.
The 'Limited Edition 250' on the counterfeit differs from what is on the real pin in the following ways:
a) Not centered inside the copyright box.
b) The letters are thinner, taller, and the tops of some actually touch the top of the box.
c) The numbers are thinner, a bit taller, and the '2' is even a bit larger, proportionally, than the '5' and '0'.
