This Beautiful CLOISONNE' pin is from 1984 features Mickey Mouse's Head with a WED/MAPO Hard Hat on. Around Mickey's head are the words "Walt Disney Productions", and in a separate box below it says "Show Installation". This pin came out when Imagineering was still know as WED/MAPO. This Cast Member Exclusive pin was released to those individuals within the WED/MAPO Department that are directly responsible for erecting the rides, shows, and attractions we all love at the various Disney theme parks around the world.
Version 2 of this pin (#6972) was released in 1991 with "WALT DISNEY IMAGINEERING" written on it instead of the "Walt Disney Productions".
This pin is made of gold metal, and the back of the pin is completely smooth, not waffled or pebbly/bumpy.
