PP58335    The Rocketeer Gold Pin

Front Description

This pin is from the 1980's and likely commemorates the comic book that spawned the 1991 Disney movie "The Rocketeer" (as one member mentions)

Those words are inside a circle below the Rocketeer helmet, which has a green enamel eye and red in the center of the circle, behind the helmet. The rest of the detailing on the pin is black on the gold base metal.

 

EDIT: I found this pin in Tomart's Disneyana Guide to Pin Trading (1st Edition) - it is pin AA2212 in the book.

The back of the pin is waffled, except for a rectangular box with the following text in it:
