Front Description
This pin is from the summer games in Atlanta. It depicts a poster of Big Ben with a statue of a discus thrower in front. Beneath the statue are the colored olympic rings. Beneath the rings is printed, "29 JULY 1948 14 AUGUST-LONDON". The poster is epoxy covered. A metal frame surrounds the poster. The frame consists of black enamel paint with gray speckles that give it a marble effect. At the top of of the frame is a gold torch with red flames. Written under the torch is, "Atlanta 1996". At th bottom of the frame is written, "SUMMER GAMES".
This gold-finished, textured-back pin has two stakes, measures 1 7/8"tall by 1 3/16" wide and is backstamped, "51325-TM,(C)1992 ACOG-IMPRINTED PRODUCTS-MADE IN CHINA".
