Front Description
The Fab 4 welcome hotel Guests to a Happy 2000 New Year on this pin, one of five pins in special boxed set (#33520) given to Guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels on the night of December 31, 1999 (one set per room). Given the number of rooms for the two hotels (Pacific and Disneyland hotels), that's not many pins.
The white rectangular pin with gold border has confetti and party hats are various colors flying all around. Pluto (left facing left) blows a party horn. Mickey Mouse (center) wears a party hat and has his arms up and out, holding a party clacker in his right hand. Goofy is above him. Donald Duck is at right, facing right, blowing some sort of party noisemaker. In front of them all is an orange-red banner proclaiming, "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2000" and at the bottom center is the Disneyland logo (with the stylized Sleeping Beauty Castle).
The pin measures 1 3/8" (35 mm) wide by 1" (25 mm) tall. As with all the pins in the set, there is no backstamp.
