This pin is one in a collection, the Gold Card Character Tag Line, that features famous Disney characters and the years they were introduced. This limited edition pin celebrates Figment from Epcot, which opened in 1982. (The actual Journey Into Imagination attraction opened on March 5, 1983.) Josh Holtsclaw from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin which depicts Figment's head and shoulders, his arms outstretched, on a purple background with the words "Since 1982" printed in white on a blue banner and "Imagining the Impossible" also printed in white, below this.
