The world famous Disney Characters are pictured riding a subway to work in this open edition pin. This pin features doors that slide. The artwork for this pin was inspired by Melissa Colon , a winner of the Cast Member Create-A-Pin Contest at the World of Disney® Store - New York. Alex Maher from Disney Design Group turned Melissa's concept into this pin.
The subway car doors have the NYC World of Disney logo on them. Inside are Minnie Mouse, Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy. Mickey is checking his wristwatch for the time, Goofy looks to be asleep, and Donald has his arms crossed and a scowl on his face.
This pin will be released at World of Disney ® Store - New York as part of Pin Trading Morning on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008. Guests can meet Melissa and have their pins signed from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. This free activity is open to Guests of all ages.
