Front Description
This Vintage Mickey Mouse Pin was most likely produced by Cohn & Rosenberger between 1931 and 1932. This base metal of the pin is silver. The black parts appear to be enamel.
Cohn & Rosenberger were the original licensee of Walt Disney. This pin appears identical to the one pictured on page 9 of Tomart's 6th edition (AA0032). Similar to pin 31147 except this pin faces to the left.
Backstamp Reads: All Rights Reserved, Stirling Silver and a makers mark, possibly Cohn & Rosenberger. Brooch style back and approx 7/8" in size.
It appears that this pin came in three pinback versions: The traditional straight back, a stick pin design, and a horizontal version that extended well beyond the sides of Mickey.
Back Description
The pin has a brooch back clasp, as did all pins of this era.
