Front Description
This pin, made of plastic, was released to celebrate Mickey's 62nd birthday on November 18, 1990. This date is 62 years from the date of November 18, 1928, considered by Disney to be the birthdate of Mickey, when he appeared in "Steamboat Willie".
The pin is an orange-yellow coloured starburst shape, with "Happy Birthday Mickey" in red, as well as a red outline at the border. The date - November 18, 1990 - is at the bottom of the pin in black text.
Pie-eyed (vintage) Mickey, rendered in black, is depicted walking at the center, with arm outstretched and palm upward. Mickey's tail reaches out to the right border of the pin. All of the text, Mickey's picture, and the border are raised so that you can feel them by running your finger over the pin.
There is a (c)Disney in raised lettering up and to the left of Mickey's front foot. This is very hard to see as it is the same yellow-orange colour of the background, but is barely visible in the picture.
The back is completely smooth and has a straight back clasp.
