This is the Staff pin similar to the gift pin given to guests attending the Pirates of Castaway Cay pin event on the Disney Wonder® Ship from November 11 - 15, 2007. This pin features Pirate Mickey Mouse, it has an attached cord and will served as the event credential for Staff and is a limited edition of 25.
Artwork for this pin was created by Disney Design Group Artists Monty Maldovan and Tyler Dumas and features a secret decoder.
The difference in the two pins is that the Staff pin is stamped limited edition 25 on the back where pin 58282 is stamped le 400.
There is also a difference in the colors on the pin - The Staff pin has a navy background behind Mickey and the guest pin has a red background. The checkerboard trim are red/blue where the guest pin is grey/black.
