This Limited Edition pin features Communicore, a technological showcase which was the precursor to the current Innoventions attraction. The pin contains multiple pin-on-pin elements and a spinner element.
Pin Features the robot, SMRT-1 in front of CommiCore East. Below SMRT-1 (in white stylized font) is EPCOT CENTER in a yellow / red rainbow. Below this is Communi [logo] Core.
Next to SMRT-1 is the CommuniCore logo (with the other side being Epcot Center's logo)
[2008 comment: SMRT-1 was part of the Computer Central exhibit sponsored by Sperry and later Unisys. He later was retrofitted to be a mobile robot, similar to Push in Tomorrowland, and resided in the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary Resort Hotel in 1994 where he was renamed X-1846 which was short for extension 1846, the restaurants phone number. He was removed in 2000.]
