The 12-pin MAIN STREET GAZETTE: HERE'S THE SCOOP! pin-of-the-month series was released at WDW around the first of each month throughout 2008. The series features Mickey disguised as Scoop Sanderson, Magic Kingdom's Main Street Gazette reporter, experiencing classic Walt Disney World attractions. Each shaped pin contains a pin-on-pin element. The backs of the backer cards, printed to look like newsprint paper, share fun facts or trivia about each ride, as reported by Scoop. Chris Chapman from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin.

 

In this June pin (sixth of the series), Scoop reports from the Rock n' Roller Coaster attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Scoop is taking notes as he flies around the curvy track. The ride car (boat) is a pin-on-pin element.

 

Rides in the series include Haunted Mansion, Expedition Everest, Tower of Terror, Mission: SPACE, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Star Tours, It's a Small World, Test Track, Soarin, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Kilimanjaro Safaris.
