Front Description
One of 11 WORLD SHOWCASE PAVILION pins, released in 1999, representing the different countries found in the WDW EPCOT World Showcase.
This real-cloisonne pin features a blue square outlined in cream. At the bottom is a green bar with "France" in white type. Superimposed in the square is a diamond shape; within is a picture of the France pavilion, including the bottom half of the Eiffel Tower.
This pin was listed in "The Walt Disney World Resort Pin Catalog" (published by Disney in 1999 for the 2000 Millennium Celebration).
Note: There is another pin that has an identical front - part of an LE 500 framed set - but the LE pin has a double-post back.
In April 2001, Disney auctioned off one pin and the mold (no longer in production) of this pin for $80.
