This pin features Mickey Mouse celebrating August 8th, 2008. This limited edition, cast exclusive pin also has a pin-on-pin element. There are American flags on either side of Mickey, which could put it in the patriotic category. He is wearing a gold medal around his neck and raising his hand with pointer finger extended, signifying his placement as number 1. The words "cast member" in gold lettering at bottom of this gold finished  

This pin was released at Company D locations, and was only sold to cast members and certain other employees of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts.
 

750 were released to WDW Cast Members on July 11, 2008; and 500 of these pins will be released to DLR Cast Members on August 8, 2008.

Pin was released to commemorate the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Olympic Summer games in Bejing China.
