Front Description
This 2 inch epoxy covered pin shows Mickey Mouse holding onto a bunch of balloons. The words "The Disney Fair" are across three of the balloons.
I am unsure of the origin of this pin, but do know that the Disney Fair was a Disney production that ran for a year at various Fairs and events across the country, the first being in Seattle in September 1996.
[2008 comment: Although in the photo it may look like plastic, it is actually an epoxy dome over polished brass. The back has a mirror finish with a single spike. As mentioned, The Disney Fair began in September 1996. It visited 12 US & Canadian cities over a 12 month period. It was held in 3 large tents and had "balloon-themed interactive experiences -- a kind of Fantasyland version of the Innoventions area at Epcot Center".]
