PP6568    Lilly Belle

Front Description

This pin commemorates the Lilly Belle, the miniature train that Walt built in the back yard of his Holmby Hills home. The pin shows a front view of the engine, with the name plaque Lilly Belle running across it. There's a red circle around the outside edge of the pin, and in gold it reads "50 Years, 1950-2000."

This pin is a LE of 500. It is also the last pin with a Retlaw ©, since this company no longer is in existance. All information was obtained from Author Michael Broggie at Walt Disney's Hometown Celebration in Marceline, Missouri on the Weekend of September 21, 22, 23, 2001.

The Lilly Belle is also one of the five locomotives that run at Walt Disney World.
