Scrapper Alert: we bought an original from Disney, it was shiny and gold - bought a second on the after-market for framing and it is pitted, has dips in the paint, and is on black metal. The most noticeable difference is that in the authentic pin the caps on the acorns are a different, lighter color than Chip/Dale - but in the bootleg the caps and 'munks are the same shade of brown.
