This pin was released in Winnipeg, Canada for Friendship Day and to celebrate the fact that A.A. Milne named his character after a bear in the London Zoo that had come from Canada and was named "Winnie" by a Canadian soldier who was in Europe during the First World War.

 

This pin was only available at the "Sixth Annual Pooh Friendship Day" at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba CANADA on August 18, 2002.

 

The pin is stamped "CANADA" and not "Made in China".
