This six-pin Patriotic Star Salute set of Hidden Mickey pins is the seventh series that was released in Disneyland. Each of the pins features a different Disney character on a patriotic red-white-and-blue star, resembling the American Flag. The small Hidden Mickey icon is located on the lower right star point. Pins were originally released as prizes at the Day Camp Event held at Disneyland on June 21, 2008. The pins were not available for trading with a cast member until July. In 2008, pouches containing two random 2008 Hidden Mickey pins were available to purchase for $10.00.
