Front Description
One of 11 WORLD SHOWCASE PAVILION pins, released in 1999, representing the different countries found in the WDW EPCOT World Showcase.
This real-cloisonne pin features the campanile in the Italian pavilion at Epcot. Pin is a burnt orange square with a purple border and purple banner with "Italy" in white at the bottom. Pic is in a diamond superimposed on the square.
This pin was listed in "The Walt Disney World Resort Pin Catalog" (published by Disney in 1999 for the 2000 Millennium Celebration).
Note: There is another pin that has an identical front - part of an LE 500 framed set - but the LE pin has a double-post back.
On 16 Apr 2001, Disney auctioned off one pin and the mold (no longer in production) of this pin for $80.
