Front Description
Mickey Mouse is one of at least four hand-painted pins made from a polymer clay process. The polymer clay process was created in the 1930s, but used more predominantly on figurines and pin in the 1960s.
Mickey sits facing forward, head tilted to the right and resting on his left hand. His legs are crossed and his right hand rests on the ground. He is dressed in his traditional red shorts with yellow buttons, and yellow shoes.
The pin measures 1 1/2" (38 mm) wide by 2" (51 mm) tall. The back is unpainted and is a pink color consistant with the polymer clay plastic process. The backstamp is, "© DISNEY, MADE IN CHINA."
Other pins in the series include Goofy (#58982), Daisy (#67236) and Minnie (#67239).
