The WDW 2009 SCOOP AND FRIENDS pin-of-the-month collection features Mickey Mouse dressed as Scoop Sanderson, Gazette Reporter and pin-trading Ambassador Extraordinaire, with different Disney characters dressed as Scoop's Main Street USA friends. Each shaped pin features Mickey and Friend(s) in front of a different Magic Kingdom Main Street building. You can tell it's Scoop (and not just one of the Dapper Dans), because he's wearing his iconic plaid suit with the Press Pass in his hatband! Alex Maher of the Disney Design Group created the original artwork for this collection.
Released in January (the first in the series), this pin features Scoop offering Stitch, dressed as Smokey Miller, the Main Street Fire Chief, a chance to play his famous "What's That Flipping Pin" game. Scoop's about to flip the pin in his right hand (with his "famous patented pin flipper"), while Stitch looks on quizzically (holding a fire axe in his left hand). Stitch really wants to win that pin as a prize for guessing correctly! They're standing in front of the Firehouse on Main Street.
