Front Description
The Collaboration pin from the Disney Institute "Inspiration through Collaboration" Shadowbox Framed Set (#67454).
The pin is one of the most unique pins Disney has created, material-wise. The top section is three puzzle pieces which form an L. The top piece is black, connected to a red piece which is then connected to a very light blue puzzle piece with verticle gold lines across it. There are two holes in the red piece. One wonders if the black (with shapes like Mickey ears) combined with the red piece (with buttons?) and the white piece (gloves) represents Mickey Mouse.
The bottom section is held by two dangles. It is literatlly a small padlock and key. The brass lock says "FUBANG" on it and the silver key reads "FB." It actually works. It is attached to the top by a gold chain on the left side, with the right side connected by the lock and a small silver ring.
The pin was glued to the matting (though easily removed). There are no rubber pinbacks for this pin, but there are two pin posts.
The pin measures 3 3/4" (96 mm) tall by 1 3/4" (45 mm) wide. The backstamp has "LIMITED EDITION OF 1000" on the back, along with the official 2005 Disney Pin Trading logo and "© DISNEY, MADE IN CHINA."
