Stitch celebrates Chinese New Year 2009 - the year of the ox - riding aboard an ox. The pin features a pin-on-pin element and dangle elements. Chinese New Year 2009 begins on January 26, 2008.

A light green square framed with a red border topped with gold scrollwork. An Ox is positioned diagonally on the square, with Stitch laying on his back, a white Chinese hat atop his head. Below the feet of the ox is a red sign which reads, "Chinese New Year 2009." Red dangles hang down from each end of the sign. There is a black chinese word symble above the head of the ox, presumably saying "ox."
