Cross U is a training program for cast members to learn how to man an alternative attraction, and this pin was given to the CM after completion of the training to recognize participation in the winter 2008 Cross-U season. The WDW award came from Erin Wallace, Senior Vice President of Walt Disney World Operations, mounted on a backer card with a thank you message from Erin. The DLR award came from Michael J. O'Grattan, Executive Vice President, Operations, Disneyland Resort, mounted on a backer card with a thank you message from Michael. The cards are different for WDW and DLR (see photos), but the pin is the same.
