Front Description
A character that never was...at least not with the name they were going to use. This is a pin promoting an early concept for the character now known as Darkwing Duck. Originally, he was going to be called Double O Duck...that is, until the James Bond people stepped in and threatened a lawsuit.
Darkwing Duck faces left with his blue and red cape fluttering to the right. Behind him is a gold-rimmed light blue circle. An orange park is below him with "DOUBLE 0 DUCK" in white.
To the best of my knowledge, this pin was given away at a convention highlighting upcoming TV shows.
The pin measures 1 1/2" (38 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (28 mm) tall. The backstamp is, "© DISNEY, Taiwan."
