A young Mickey Mouse leading the jamboree in a Mickey Mouse Club Band Leader outfit. The pin was a gift to attendees of the Disney Company annual business meeting in Jan., 2009 to celebrate the launch of D23, the official community for Disney fans. It was also a gift to attendees of a D23 UP movie event and pin trading night at DSF, but only to those who entered the pin trading room. This membership only fan club was launched on March 10, 2009. The pin came individually packaged on a pin card that reads:

THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY 2009 ANNUAL MEETING EXCLUSIVE
This pin had been given out as a gift, and may be considered the first release of a series of similar designed Charter Year pins to be sold exclusively to D23 members each month throughout 2009. With this pin there will be a total of 11 pins in this gold character series. However, whatever number that is left of this pin is now being sold by the D23 staff at certain events, such as the 50th Anniversary Toby Tyler Movie event that was held at the Burbank Studios on March 27th. The price at the event for this pin was $19.95.
The December release of a very similar design of this pin (#74532) does not have the words: "Official Launch, March 10, 2009." Instead it has "Charter Year 2009," like the other monthly releases, which began with pin #68740.
