Minnie Mouse sits barefoot on a grey planked boardwalk in her red and orange bathing suit, red hair bow and white gloves, while peeking over her sunglasses in front of the "Greetings! from California" billboard at Disney's California Adventure. This is a colorful pin on pin. The billboard has large California poppies next to a blazing yellow sun also wearing sunglasses above the blue script fonted word Greetings! Below it are the words FROM CALIFORNIA in red block letters on an orange sand beach framed in blue. The official title of this "surprise pin" is "Greetings Over California," but why they use the word "over" in the title instead of "from" is unknown. The release date was delayed a month and then sold exclusively at the World of Disney store in the Downtown Disney District on March 26, 2009. The back of the pin has the Mickey icon waffle pattern and says LIMITED EDITION OF 500 above the 2009 Official Pin Trading logo next to the words copyright Disney China.
