Front Description
This pin was originally part of a framed set offered exclusively to Cast Members. Produced for the 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World and sold at Company D stores during the 25th anniversary in 1996. The 1st 25 anniversary pins were recreated in cloisonne. The originals were either plastic, buttons, or in one case, a ribbon.
On this blue pin with gold edging is Mickey Mouse, left, is dressed in red shirt and orange pants with yellow shoes; he looks right at his black shadow which is of Steamboat Willie. At top is "HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY" in gold, with "WALT DISNEY WORLD" in gold at the bottom.
The pin measures 1 1/2" (38 mm) round.
Note: As with all pins in this set, there is a residue of doublestick tape or glue on the back, placed by Disney to help the pin stay in place on the framed set.
