Front Description
The Disney Reservation center has quarterly STAR awards for top performers. There are four levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each quarter you achieve the requirements you receive a pin First an "S" then a "T" etc. Then the process starts all over. This is the Platinum Daisy "S" from this program. Only a handful are awarded each quarter. The pin portion of the program ended in 2008 and was replaced by medallions.
It is pin on pin with a Platinum (RED) "S" in the background that Daisy is sitting on. She is smiling and waving with her left hand. She has her right hand holding herself up as she leans back. She is wearing a turquoise top with purple shoes. Platinum is the highest level. Usually less than 10 platinums are awarded each quarter.
The pin is 1 1/2" H x 3/4" W. The back of the pin says © Disney China, is made of gray metal and has one pinback.
Goofy or Daisy are on the "S".
Pluto is on the "T" for all.
Tinker Bell or Mickey are on the "A" (which is represented by a star.)
Donald or Jiminy Cricket are on the "R".
The Platinum level pins are actually red letters.
