Front Description
The Disney Reservation center has quarterly STAR awards for top performers. There are four levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each quarter you achieve the requirements you receive a pin First an "S" then a "T" etc. Then the process starts all over. This is the Platinum (RED) Jiminy Cricket "R" from this program. Only a handful are awarded each quarter. The pin portion of the program ended in 2008 and was replaced by medallions.
It is pin on pin with a Platinum (RED) "R" in the center that Jiminy is standing in front of. He is holding his red umbrella in his right hand and welcoming you with his left hand open and upstratched. He is wearing his traditional outfit including his blue top hat.
The pin is 1 1/4" H x 1 1/2" W. The back of the pin says © Disney China, is made of gray metal and has one pinback.
Goofy or Daisy are on the "S".
Pluto is on the "T" for all.
Tinker Bell or Mickey are on the "A" (which is represented by a star.)
Donald or Jiminy Cricket are on the "R".
The Platinum level pins are actually red letters.
