Front Description
This open edition pin resembles a Snow Globe and is part of a three (3) pin collection. In this pin, Mickey Mouse is standing barefoot inside the plastic globe with his left arm around an upright yellow and red striped surfboard. His right white gloved hand is resting knuckles down on his right hip. He is wearing beachcomber clothing with a lavender shirt and light blue shorts. Sitting on the beach leaning against the surfboard is Minnie Mouse wearing a pink one piece bathing suit and pink flipflops. Her left hand is lifting her lavender rimmed sunglasses with blue lenses off her eyes to the pink bow on top of her head. The two characters and the surfboard are attached to the background as a pin-on-pin. The background is of a blue sky, with green frowned palm trees beside a drawing of a green colored state of California with the city names of SanDiego, Palm Springs, and Sacramento in black script written on it. The word California is written across the top of the state in yellow and red script. There is a black Mickey Mouse ears hat on top of the letter "a" looking like a "hidden Mickey." Above the state's name, wearing sunglasses, is a big smiley faced golden yellow sun resting on the northern most end of the state. Below the half-domed shaped red glitter filled Snow Globe is a red plaque with the words "Disneyland (c) Resort" in white letters.
The back of the pin had 2 horizontally placed posts on a Mickey icon waffle pattern. At the bottom of the pin back on the left is the 2009 Official Pin Trading logo and on the right is a rectangle with the words: "FIRST RELEASE (c) Disney China."
