Front Description
The WDW 2009 SCOOP AND FRIENDS pin-of-the-month collection features Mickey Mouse dressed as Scoop Sanderson, Gazette Reporter and pin-trading Ambassador Extraordinaire, with different Disney characters dressed as Scoop's Main Street USA friends. Each shaped pin features Mickey and Friend(s) in front of a different Magic Kingdom Main Street building. You can tell it's Scoop (and not just one of the Dapper Dans), because he's wearing his iconic plaid suit with the Press Pass in his hatband! Alex Maher of the Disney Design Group created the original artwork for this collection.
Released on July 2 to the public, this pin features Clarice, dressed as Eunice McGillicutty, waving at Scoop (who's doing one of his Magic String tricks) as they pass in front of The Chapeau (part of The Emporium). Clarice (pin-on-pin element) is the chipmunk seen in the classic Disney animated short, "Two Chips and a Miss". There was an earlier surprise release for Guests at EPCOT's annual pin-trading event in June 2009, The Museum of PIN-TIQUITIES.
