The Disney Reservation center has quarterly STAR awards for top performers. There are four levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each quarter you achieve the requirements you receive a pin First an "S" then a "T" etc. Then the process starts all over. This is the completer pin from the first year. You had to recieve all four pins to spell STAR and then with the "R" pin you recieved this pin after the second year. Only a handful are awarded each quarter. The pin portion of the program ended in 2008 and was replaced by medallions.
This pin has Mickey as the sorcerer standing with his hands up. His left hand is open with his right hand pointing his index finger. He is surrounded by four stars on his right side and the stars seem to be coming from a magical white swish behind him.
The pin is 1 1/4" tall and 1"wide with a gold back and one pin back. It reads © Disney China and has the 2007 pin trading logo behind it.
