Front Description
This full colour pin commemorates the 4th of July, the United States of America's Independence Day. It's done in silver metal and features a dark navy background. At the bottom is a black-outlined yellow box that reads "CAST MEMBER INDEPENDENCE DAY 2009" in silver. 2009 is in a small bubble below.
The outline on the rest of the pin is a scissor zigzag design and done in glitter are bursts of star shaped fireworks, two rockets, and a large blue Mickey firework in the center.
Mickey and Minnie, done in solid black with yellow outlines, sit watching the firework show. Mickey has his head turned and mouth open, talking to Minnie. Minnie has her arm stretched towards Mickey, like they're holding hands.
The back of the pin features the all-over imprints of mickey heads. It has one pin post near the top center. Just below that in a box reads 'LIMITED EDITION OF 1750'. Below that in a separate box, 'Cast Exclusive'. Below and to the left is the official 2009 pin trading logo in a box. To the right, © Disney / China in a smaller box. I'm assuming this was a shared release between WDW and DLR.
