Front Description
The Donald 1983 pin to the Donald Duck Through The Years framed set (#17254) released exclusively at The DS.
This is version of Donald as nephew Fred from the 1983 cartoon short, "Mickey's Christmas Carol."
Donald stands slightly left, looking to the right with his eyes. Donald is dressed in a blue shirt and cap, and orange scarf. He holds a green wreath with red bow in his hands. Behind him is a dark green circle background, with the date 1983 in maroon red in the upper left portion of the circle, overlapping the circle's border.
The pin measures 1 5/8" (42 mm) tall by 1 3/8" (35 mm) tall.
It should be noted that the pins from this set were glued to the matting, so anyone trading for this pin may see some matting or glue residual on the reverse.
Back Description
The back has a checkerboard texture with a center smooth section. Pins are individually numbered and an authentic pin should show an actual number: the backstamp is, "LIMITED EDITION ###/1934, © Disney, CHINA.
