The WDW 2009 SCOOP AND FRIENDS pin-of-the-month collection features Mickey Mouse dressed as Scoop Sanderson, Gazette Reporter and pin-trading Ambassador Extraordinaire, with different Disney characters dressed as Scoop's Main Street USA friends. Each shaped pin features Mickey and Friend(s) in front of a different Magic Kingdom Main Street building. You can tell it's Scoop (and not just one of the Dapper Dans), because he's wearing his iconic plaid suit with the Press Pass in his hatband! Alex Maher of the Disney Design Group created the original artwork for this collection.
Released on July 30, this pin features Scoop (pin-on-pin element) singing with Donald and Goofy dressed as the Dapper Dans. Mickey is dressed in the iconic plaid Scoop costume and is down on one knee in front of the other two. Donald is dressed in yellow pants, white shirt, yellow-and-white striped vest, and a white straw hat with a yellow ribbon. Goofy has the same outfit, but his is red instead of yellow. They're standing in the plaza near the flagpole on Main Street. Cinderella's Castle would be behind them, if you could see through Goofy, but you can see the buildings of Main Street on both sides of them.
